Having been invited as a guest speaker at Dentex Zagreb, Croatia’s International Dental Medicine Fair, it is always a great endorsement to be invited – again. TFTK’s Founder, Dr Lida Hujić, this time had the privilege of delivering the closing presentation to celebrate the 30th anniversary of ‘Hrvatska komora dentalne medicine’, or the Croatian Dental Chamber. She was asked to present ‘the first to know model’ once again – to a new audience, as well as to some who, judging from the positive feedback, were more than happy to sit through the talk again, having truly enjoyed it in Zagreb.
Held at the beautiful coastal town of Opatija, the occasion was even more buzzing as the Executive Board of the Dental Chamber and Lida herself stayed at the same hotel as the England football team. They were there to play a match against Croatia (7:0 score for England). Conversations with the England squad and photos of the like of Jude Bellingham paddle-boarding, falling off, laughing and enjoying himself in the Adriatic sea will have to remain private.
Devised for innovation and marketing professionals across industries, the-first-to-know is a fresh take on how innovations spread, applicable to any industry. On this occasion it was focused on how, in dentistry, this model could especially appeal to professionals who first adopt new techniques, materials, and technologies—the early adopters of cutting-edge trends, who inspire colleagues, raise patient expectations, and ultimately move the whole profession forward. By recognising and learning from these innovators/trendsetters, dental practitioners and technicians can better anticipate change and position themselves at the forefront of progress.
