TATTY DEVINE

Shoreditch House, east London

19 September, 2018

Tatty Devine’s Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine, MBE, in Conversation with Lida Hujić

With zero start up capital, a rubbish bag full of discarded materials found on the street and needing a quick answer to the question ‘what’s your label called’ from a Vogue journalist, lost in the cultural wasteland that was Shoreditch 20 year ago, Tatty Devine was born impromptu. From unlikely beginnings, pioneering jewellery designers, Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine, went on to achieve global success and be crowned with an MBE honour for their contribution to fashion. We’ll chat about how to make it, navigate change and remain at the top, collaborate with leading public figures, art institutions and brands, trend globally on Twitter, be wanted by A listers, run a business that employs 30 long-term staff, 2 flagship stores and remain independent. We’ll also have a peep into the new SS19 collection as well as preparations for next year’s 20th anniversary.
